If you can wait, wait for the sale. Most stores repeat their big sales every year, in the same month. Follow the stores you shop at and we'll email you when their codes and sales go live, so you don't have to keep checking.

When is Black Friday? The day after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. Many stores start earlier in the week, and some run their sales through Cyber Monday. The date is at the top of this page.

What's the best time to buy a mattress? Holiday weekends: Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day, plus Black Friday. Mattress brands run their biggest discounts around these dates.

How do you know when stores have sales? From each store's own past sales and announcements. We check them and list them on each store's page with the months they usually happen. A store can change its plans, so the store's own website always has the final word.
